Project aims and objectives


To provide innovative Jewish education comprised of an arts-based integrative Jewish Studies curriculum

Project Description


The object of the project is to conduct a pilot which will adapt one 20-hour unit of the arts-based, integrated curriculum of the Toronto Heschel School, and implement this curriculum unit in 2 other Jewish day schools, in one grade per school. The schools will be involved in the entire process, from planning through implementation.
 
The teachers implementing the project will be provided with in-service training.
 
A curriculum guide, including material for both students and teachers, will be developed as part of this project.
